Stage 9 takes us around the southern tip of the island. About 11.7 km, from Nai Harn Beach to Rawai. The first part is the demanding bit: a climb up to the Windmill Viewpoint, and then we reach the iconic Promthep Cape, the southernmost point of Phuket and one of its most famous spots. After that, it’s mostly flat, heading east across the Rawai beach area to the finish. It’s a moderate stage with around 250 m of ascent, most of it in that first stretch, and we’ll be walking on roads for much of the way.

A Walk Around Phuket is my personal walk around the whole coastline of the island — 233 km in 21 stages — to bring people together and raise awareness and funds for the children of the island who need it the most.

Anyone who’d like to walk alongside me is very welcome to come along. You don’t need to be an athlete or walk all 233 km — just come for the morning and walk a stretch of coast.

👣 Please bring your own water, a hat, sunscreen, and proper walking shoes- no flip-flops, please. There’s a climb early on, so a reasonable level of fitness helps, but the rest of the stage is gentle.
⏱️ I’ll set off at 7:00 am sharp and walk at my own steady pace. If you arrive later, you’re welcome to catch up or start behind me — no problem either way.
🚗 It’s a point-to-point walk, so please plan your own way back from the finish. The WhatsApp group is a good place to arrange a carpool.

Please note: this is a personal walk. Anyone who comes along does so voluntarily, as an independent adult responsible for their own safety, health, and belongings — at their own pace and their own risk. Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying parent or guardian at all times.
