Meet Paco

Hi, I'm Paco

I'm originally from Spain, though I've been living and working around the world for years — Thailand is the tenth country I've called home. Since 2024, that home has been Phuket, where I work as a school counselor, supporting children's wellbeing and their need to feel that they belong. I'm also a runner, and I love to walk.

A couple of months ago, I got an idea: to walk the entire coastline of this island, all the way around and back to where I started. At first it was simply a personal challenge, something to test myself against, and a way to get to know the place I live better.

​

But the more I planned it, the more it felt like it could carry something more than my own footsteps. So the walk became two things: a way to bring people together and build community, and a way to support the children of this island who have far less than most, while making visible the local organizations already doing remarkable work for them.

I don't think of this as my project. It's an open invitation to walk a stretch of coast, to support a cause, or simply to follow along.
